short-term memories
composed in 2008 - for cello and piano
I wrote short-term memories for my friend YuYoung Chung. Listening to YuYoung play, I was struck by her lovely sound and ability to play lyrical music. I wrote s-t m with this in mind; it’s a brief, but expressive and filled with long melodic lines in the cello.
